Maritimo Shines In Ft Lauderdale – Update
November 13, 2008
For Immediate Release:
Australia’s premier manufacturer of luxury long-range cruisers, Maritimo, had a very successful show in Fort Lauderdale this year.
Maritimo Marketing Director Luke Durman said that the show was one of the company’s best ever in what is described as America’s foremost boat show: “We had a great Fort Lauderdale show this year,” Mr. Durman said. “Our sales were up on previous years and this is testament to the quality of our dealer network.”
“The boating fraternity in the U.S. are very particular and they expect the best in terms of quality and performance. Our sales and follow-up from the Show has certainly shown that they respect and admire the quality of the Maritimo product,” he added.
In an excerpt from a letter written to all U.S. dealers from the President of Maritimo USA, Dave Northrop, the sentiments of Mr. Durman were echoed: “On behalf of the complete Maritimo Team, please allow me to thank all of you for a terrific effort and results at the Fort Lauderdale Show. Truly it is a pleasure to be a part of such a professional, energetic group that indeed functions as a team,” said Mr Northrop.
“Maritimo had their best single show ever in terms of contracts written at the show, and that is indeed a strong testimonial in challenging times. We registered almost 250 keenly interested guests, and every dealer left with sales or many good prospects.
“Remember, Maritimo has established a new segment with Cruising Convertibles, and the functionality of our new Sports Cabriolet series is determined to re-define what buyers will demand from future non-flybridge cruisers. Together we can deliver:
Products simply not available from any other source, unmatched value, and a distinctive buying experience.
Terrific Dealer and factory support with a nationwide collaborative effort and culture exceeding all others.
Ability to meet the needs of customers that have not been addressed by other brands.
And let’s not forget our performance and efficiency advantage.”
